On January 29th 2021, the ICT4Elders project realisation continued with online meeting of partners. The ICT4Elders aims to bridge the digital divide between generations by enhancing the digital skills and competencies of elderly people. Taking into consideration that, according to Eurostat, two fifths of people aged between 65 and 74 years old have never used even a computer, the project seeks to transform the rapid digital transformation into an opportunity for growth and social inclusion of older adults.
During this meeting, partners shared ideas and expectations of how to implement the project and agreed on a common understanding of the project’s goals and objectives. Moreover, they discussed setting of Methodological Framework, which aims to provide the project partners with a common and comprehensive research methodology for activities to be implemented under IO1, as well as tools, templates, and procedures that will be used and followed during its implementation, and Quality assurance plan (methodology, Quality Assurance Board members, Steering committee members). The project logo was chosen from 3 graphical proposals.
